AdPackNetwork

Tuesday, September 30th, 2008

AdPackNetwork is an advertising platform where its members can advertise their own websites in exchange for viewing other members advertising. APN offer website several kind of advertising such as webpage views, banner views and text ad views.

APN is free to join and require no purchase of products or services and the membership is not limited to a specific time.

APN members are allowed to purchase additional exposure in the form of advertising packages consisting of webpage views, banner views or text ad views but also. A number of the advertising packages offered gives members the additional benefit of being able to participate in the APN revenue sharing program as well as receive a Pro membership in the Solixta community for free which include extra exposure to the website they like to advertise.

The revenue sharing program is based on future weekly earnings on both APN advertising packages as well as on other products and services:

- 64.00% of the revenue arising from the sale of APN advertising packages.

- 64.00% of the revenue from sales of Solixta.com Pro memberships.

- 64.00%+ of the revenue from sales of HitProfessional.com packages.

In addition hereto comes a small percentage on info products sold via other websites as well as earnings through a strategic partnership.

Initially the sale of advertising packages count for a high percentage of the funds that flow into the revenue sharing program, however it is expected that this percentage will fall as the revenue on the other activities described above goes up through an increase in future marketing efforts.

Striving towards a long-term stable revenue sharing program further diversification is planned.

Revenue sharing is calculated every Sunday for the past seven days Monday – Sunday and member accounts are adjusted late Sunday.

To qualify for revenue sharing the members holding one or more ad pack must view at least 20 webpages to qualify for that day.

The ad packs are valid for a maximum of 6 months or until the member has received a cash reward of 2 to 1, whatever comes first.

Presently the following payment processors are accepted: AlertPay, SafePay Solutions, SolidTrust Pay and Liberty Reserve.

In case of technical problems, advertising campaigns can be paused but will automatically resume again without loss of advertising credits.
The revenue sharing program does not offer any kind of compensation in case of technical difficulties.

Members can request payout of an amount limited to the balance of their APN cash account at any time. Requests are processed within 24 hours and APN will keep sufficient funds available at all times to cover payout for all member cash accounts.

Members are allowed to purchase a maximum of 1,000 ad packages with external funds and are allowed to hold a maximum of 2,000 ad packages which can only done by purchasing additional ad packages via the members cash account balance. If a member reaches the maximum 2,000 ad packages a forced payout will take place to stay below the maximum.

The purchase of advertising packages guarantees the delivery of the advertising agreed and in accordance with the description of the individual advertising packages, the sales are non-refundable. Purchasing advertising packages guarantees participation in the revenue sharing program but does not guarantee any kind of financial return.

Members are invited to join the APN Skype chat where they can get their questions answered but also meet many other great members. The link to the Skype chat is located on the support page.

FINAL NOTE: APN is a traffic exchange that strives to deliver the best in advertising and at the same time reward those members that upgrade by letting them participate in its revenue sharing program.

APN has not been set up to replace peoples regular income and it never will. In return for the services offered by APN members are asked to study and understand APN before joining. In addition members who promote APN are asked not to use unrealistic claims when doing so. APN will do everything in its power to stay within all international laws that may apply to its business model and changes will be made immediately and without prior notice if so required.

Product Review: Web Traffic Juggernaut

Monday, September 29th, 2008

Web Traffic Juggernaut is a new site that says it guarantees more web visitors and online advertising with very little effort or cost. So I decided to put it to the test…

My first impression was the site looks professional and clean, with an attractive look and feel. It is easy to read and understand. Joining the site was easy and painless–they do offer 2 upgrade options but they are not required to gain the benefits.

The Members Area is very well laid out and intuitive–I could figure out what to do after only a few minutes and was able to get up & running in less than 5 minutes. Inside the site, you create links and ads–the links you simply enter any URL links you use into the generator and it transforms them into “Juggernaut” links. You create ads for anything you want to promote using the Juggernaut Ad Generator, which is very easy to use. You can create as many links and as many ads as you like. And they are organized in a logical way–links are displayed in the order you create them but also your 5 most recent links appear on the main page for quick reference. Also, since the link generator is the tool you’ll use most, it is also right at the top of the main page when you login. Very smart!

After you’ve created at least 1 link and 1 ad you can start to generate traffic. Just use and promote the new Juggernaut link instead of the original source link you had. Every time the Juggernaut link is clicked, the page loads followed by a small ad window in the lower right corner. It displays 3 ads PLUS an image with your affiliate link that goes back to Juggernaut. So if anyone clicks the Juggernaut image they see the site, and if they signup they become your referral. It’s a great viral feature because you can build referrals without even trying to just by using the site.

Now every time the ad window displays (your Juggernaut links get clicked) you earn credits that get YOUR ad displayed in the ad windows when other members’ links get clicked. So the more clicks, the more times your ads get displayed.

And this works virally–meaning as you make referrals into Juggernaut (either by promoting it or just using it and visitors click the Juggernaut image on the ad window to join) you also earn ad credits on THEIR link clicks. And this works up to 5 levels deep. So you can create a massive amount of free ad views and web traffic by referring others to Juggernaut also.

I didn’t get to test the full effect of a big downline yet (I just got the tool) but I can tell you the rest of the site works exactly as stated–my links got clicked, I earned credits, and my ads got displayed. Juggernaut even tracked my results so I know how many clicks and how many ad displays. That was an impressive unadvertised extra feature.

There is one more benefit and feature which might be the best of them all–downline emailing. You can email your downline with offers, promotions, or whatever you like, and here is where Juggernaut really shines. They took time to make the emailing often enough that it’s valuable as a user, but no so often that it’s a burden to your downline. But the best part about this feature (and actually the credit earning too) is that they use a unique dual-matrix technology that builds your downline in 2 ways. First is the typical way–you refer members, who then refer members, etc. But the 2nd matrix is a “forced matrix” that places all new members in a downline in sequential order. Without getting technical, what it means is that if you join and just stay a member (even if you don’t do anything) your downline will grow automatically because new members will fill in your forced matrix. And you earn credits on them too. Now THAT’s cool.

Overall I have to say I am impressed with Web Traffic Juggernaut. It is simple yet powerful, and delivers on its promises. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to increase traffic and advertising.

Email Marketing – Optimization Techniques

“Email Marketing Success – Optimization Techniques

It’s a common trend that internet marketers do whatever they can do to get the e-mail address of the people visiting their site. Online, you have a really small window of opportunity to convert a visitor into a client and if they’re not ready to buy whatever they’re browsing on your site, it’s a good idea to at least find out who they are so that you can try a different sales approach on them on another day. Just because they’re not interested in what you’re selling today doesn’t mean you can’t find something else to tickle their fancy.

There are many ways to do this such as:

- Offer a free report with information they’ll find valuable

- Ask them to opt in to your newsletter or subscribe to your website for update

- Intrigue them with entry into a free draw for a prize.

Once someone has signed up for something you’ve got a valuable e-mail address that you can use to build your list of potential customers. Once you have that e-mail address, you want to be very careful with it because otherwise it won’t do much for you.

How do you stay out of the spam filter?

It’s a good idea to have someone confirm before you give away anything. Many will put in a fake e-mail address just to get something for free. You can require them to confirm by receiving an e-mail from you and clicking a confirmation link. Remind them to check their junk folder and if they mark your message as not being Spam, their email software could then automatically whitelist you so that you don’t land in the spam folder in future. By requesting a confirmation, you also ensure that you are getting a real e-mail address.

Autoresponder software is a good investment for anyone marketing online. Buying into a package AutoResponsePlus or something similar will help you easily manage your mailing lists. The thing is, once you have a mailing list in place and a plan that includes autoresponders, you need to work on your email content and deliverability.

Each communication you make in future with prospective client should do two things:

1) The e-mail needs to offer them something valuable otherwise they’ll unsubscribe. Give information or tips or helpful information that will have that person anxious to open future emails from you.

2) You need a call to action line at the end which will entice them to do something you want after they close the email. This could be to visit your website with a handy link, sign up for another service, refer their friends to you or even offer a purchase link so they can buy what you’re selling.

Deliverability is definitely a key factor. You want to know that your e-mails reach their recipient’s email box so here are a few things you can do to increase the likelihood of your target audience actually opening your e-mail. People are fed up with Spam and using all sorts of programs and techniques to ensure they’re not having to sift through spam to get to the important e-mails.

People make use of domain keys and SPF records so that they aren’t getting phishing e-mails by those posing as their bank or PayPal.

People use spam filters and this helps them build the trust in their incoming messages. Once you make it past that filter, you’re set.

By getting yourself whitelisted, you can increase the likelihood of being delivered to an e-mail inbox instead of a Spam folder and by buying an autoresponder product that’s hosted on your own server, you can more easily get past Spam filters because if you’ve done your bit to get whitelisted, you’ll be trusted by your recipient’s e-mail server which will increase the chances of your brilliant and persuasive copy being taken seriously.”

Search Engine Optimization

Saturday, September 13th, 2008

According to a recent study, more than 60% of websites lack the proper web programming to be ranked properly by Internet search engines.

What is Search engine optimization (SEO)?

Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the volume and quality of traffic to a web site from search engines via “natural” (“organic” or “algorithmic”) search results for targeted keywords. Usually, the earlier a site is presented in the Search Engine Results Pages (SERPS) or the higher it “ranks”, the more searchers will visit that site.

What can be done to get a higher Search Engine (SE) ranking?

You will be able to get a lot on SEO by doing a search on one of the Search Engines. I found a very interesting website that will analyse your website and make recommendations on SEO for free.

Psychology of a Search Engine Crawler

What does Google see? Or more importantly how does a webpage look to Googlebot and how will it rank a website in its search engine? We have started a project that answers the more general question of how a search engine crawler sees the world. The SEO Text Browser tells the user what things could be improved with the current web page they are browsing. New webmasters don’t need to know every SEO trick, a quick spin around the block with the SEO Text Browser tells most of the major corrections that are needed to rank better with on-page content. Best of all this is a free service by DomainTools for all the white hats out there.

The SEO Text Browser allows even the newest webmaster to easily view a detailed and customized list of tasks to fix. For experts that know what they are doing they use lynx or study the source code. The browser actually gives easy step by step instructions on how to improve the web page the user is surfing.

Step-by-Step Instructions to fix Search Engine Optimization:
1) Enter a domain name into the whois form on DomainTools.com.
2) Click on the SEO Text Browser on the right of the whois record.

If you do not see the SEO Text Browser, then no webpage was found for the domain.

3) The SEO Text Browser will launch and give its first suggestion.
4) Complete the task/improvement. Refresh the SEO Text Browser.

The SEO Text Browser caches, you must use the reload button to clear the old copy from our server.

5) Repeat Steps 3 and 4.

How to Make Money on the Internet – Be Helpful

Saturday, September 6th, 2008

I get asked about this all the time. People I know offline and people I know online ask me, What is the best way to make money on the web? My answer is very simple, but always requires more explanation.

BE HELPFUL

Be helpful? What does that mean? I don’t get it. Hunh? are a few of the responses to my answer, so of course I will explain.

Let’s say you want to establish yourself as an expert in your field. One great way to do so is to join forums that are related to your field. Introduce yourself and give a little history when you first join so people know a little about you.

Then browse through the forum and look for questions people are asking. Answer their questions as fully as you can. If you do not know the answer, use the search engines and find out what the answer is. Be courteous when answering. Provide links to where they can find out more information and confirm your answer.

This accomplishes five things.

1. You were helpful.
2. You may have learned something new by looking up the answer.
3. You now have a bookmark for a website you may need later.
4. You have established yourself as someone who can provide answers.
5. Other people saw how helpful you were.

#5 is probably the most important of all. Some people read your answer, saw how helpful you were, and probably visited the website in your signature and are now a potential customer.

Whenever someone calls you, emails you, or comments on your blog with a question, take the time, make the time, to answer them even when it doesn’t make you any money. Once people start taking your advice, most will help you in return and won’t mind helping you make money later.

Sign up for affiliate programs that pay well. Things you know the people you deal with might need, like web hosting, web design, seo, etc.

When people are asking your advice, ask them if they need hosting or whatever. If they say yes, ask them to use your affiliate link to sign up. It costs them nothing. It makes you money. And since you have been so helpful, they do not mind helping you make a little money.

Make sure the places you refer them to are actually good companies. Again, you are being helpful by referring them to something worthwhile and you make money doing it.

Learn how to search the web. I don’t mean just going to Google and typing something in. Learn advanced search methods and other sources besides just search engines to find what you are looking for.

Once you know how to really search the web, you can be even more helpful. You will be able to find things other people cannot find. This valuable skill can make you more helpful to others and make you more money.

If you provide a service or product, provide free consultations and offer free information for your potential customers. Find non-competing services, products, free coupons, and other things that you know your target audience will also be interested in.

Take a little time and find these things for the people you wish to do business with and you will soon learn how much they appreciate you and want to do business with you.

So many of us get busy and view some of these things as a waste of our time. I could be talking to a paying client right now instead of this person. I can’t believe this person keeps asking me questions and they haven’t even bought anything.

Yes, you do have to find the right balance, because you do have a business to run. But taking a little time each day or each week to just be helpful to others or adopting an overall philosophy of being helpful will make you more money in the long run than only focusing on “What’s in it for me”.

Some people you help won’t appreciate it at all. They may turn out to be a total jerk after you have given freely of your time and expertise. But that is their problem, not yours, and they will wish they still had you to help them later.

Most people you help will respond in kind and appreciate your efforts. They will refer their friends to you and whenever possible, they will choose your services over another provider, even if the other provider offers it at a better price.

So, how do you make more money on the net?

BE HELPFUL.

Free Professional Autoresponder

Wednesday, September 3rd, 2008

Every person involved in Internet marketing needs some kind of autoresponder. It is a proven fact that a potential customer or clients will most of the time only purchase a product or join an opportunity after receiving a few informative follow-up emails. For this reason I would suggest getting a professional autoresponder. You can get a lot of free utoresponders but this will not give you enough flexibility to utilise this marketing tool to it’s full potential.

The first question most of you will ask is what is it going to cost to get a professional autoresponder. Now for the good news! You can get an autoresponder under GPL Licensed for free. It’s perfect for lead generation, email courses, newsletters and other email campaigns. But best of all… it’s free!

Infinite Responder is an autoresponder & newsletter hybrid that allows you to send as many messages, as many emails to as many lists as you want. It can behave as both a sequential autoresponder and a newsletter mailer.

The only requirement to get this completely customisable free self-hosted autoresponder script is to get your own website. It makes financially sense to get yourself a hosting package and domain for under $10 per month. It will cost you a lot more per month to subscribe to a professional autoresponder service.

I can tell you from experience and changing from 2 previous subscription based autoresponders that you will lose your list of leads the moment you move to a new autoresponder. You can download
the leads but at the new autoresponder service they will require you to get the leads to opt in again. You will lose a great percentage of leads deciding not to opt in again.

Visit the website of Infinite Responder http://infinite.ibasics.biz/ and decide for yourself. I am not getting anything back other than trying to help and showing my gratitude for being able to use this script for free.

It doesn’t matter what company you use for hosting but do get a Linux package. You will need this for uploading Infinite Responder. I am making use of HostGator. HostGator is one of the world’s top 10 largest web hosting companies with more than 1,300,000 hosted domains. They have over 160 employees to provide around-the-clock superior support.

Visit the HostGator website by clicking here or use the link on my website BuzzClix You can get useful links at the Blogroll on this page as well.

Requirements of hosting package for use with Infinite Responder:

* A web server (Apache or IIS)

* PHP 4.3 or greater (the 5.x series seems to work fine)

* MySQL 4 or greater (MySQL 5 is highly recommended)

* IMAP library is required for bounce and mail checking

* Crontab for scheduled mail sending

Most of the hosting packages available will have this pre-installed for you.

Installation is pretty easy, but if you’re not techie you might find the upload process or database setup a bit daunting. If you need help the autoresponder can be installed for you. You can
find more details by visiting the Infinite Responder website http://infinite.ibasics.biz/

If you would like to see a sample of the autoresponder in action visit BuzzClix and subscribe to my mailing list. After testing you can cancel your subscription at any time.
